University Institute, New Delhi is an Asian-based learning group in educational conversation throughout the Pacific Rim and Southeast Asia, East Asia, Central and South Asia, North Africa and the Middle East, Western Europe, and Central and Eastern Europe.

The Institute provides for-credit education for American universities and adult learning experiences for international and national students and participants.

University Institute hosts students from universities for educational seminars, andragogical learning experiences, and community involvements and immersions around the world – from the Americas and Europe, to the Middle East and Asia.

Thom Wolf

Thom Wolf delivered 2014 Plenary Keynote Lecture for ICSSR sponsored ‘National Seminar on Globalization & Social Development in India’ at Indian Institute of Public Administration (Ministry of HRD, Govt of India), New Delhi; and was International Consultant, The Oxford Encyclopaedia of South Asian Christianity (Oxford University Press 2012).
He is also visiting professor, global leadership, School of Education, Andrews University; former adjunct professor, sociology, Behavioral Sciences, Charleston Southern University; and is visiting professor, Utkal University, National Institute of Social Work and Social Sciences, Bhubaneswar, India.
An experienced sociologist, Dr Thom has been an International Fellow of Canyon Institute for Advanced Studies, Phoenix, USA; is a life member of the Indian Sociological Society; and a contributing editor of Forward Press, India’s first fully Hindi|English news magazine.
A social entrepreneur and leadership educator, Dr Thom has designed Master of Arts programs for four USA universities.
His campus lectures & speaking engagements include Indiana University, University of California Berkeley, Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México, Kunming University, Beijing Language and Culture University, Princeton University, Stanford University, Harvard University, American University of Dubai, Kashmir University, Lucknow University, Delhi University, Jawaharlal Nehru University, and the Finance & Budget Academy, Finance Ministry & Russian Federation.
With a sustained interest in the ethical dimensions of comparative worldviews, his ideas have been published by Far Eastern Economic Review, Journal of AC Leadership, Journal of Contemporary Social Work of Lucknow University, as well as the Ministry of Culture|Government of India, and Nava Nalanda Mahavihara University. His probing India Progress-Prone: The Baliraja Proposal of Mahatma Phule (2008) is translated into Hindi and Marathi, and his highly acclaimed “The Mahayana Moment: Tipping Point Buddhism” (2009), has been translated into Tibetan (2010).
